Hey,

I just got back from a family (non moto) trip to cottage country.
I spotted Robbie O in Bala on his lowered BMW and a couple of days later
I followed an inmate across old hwy 503 who was on a yellow Strom with
hi-vis tape and an IRL sticker on his bags. That was me with the Ford
pickup carrying bicycles on the rack.

Figured I'd say hi after the fact. Some day I'll get my bike down there and
ride with some of yffs.

I would have but there were a few things that prevented it.
I had an ice cream cone in my hand
My wife, kids, dog and relatives were with me
and finally, you wouldn't have stopped for a big hairy sunburned guy wavingon the side of the road

I saw your bike approaching in traffic and pointed it out to my wife. "Nice" she said
"I know who that little guy is" says I
"From that motorbike facebook forum you're on?" says my loving wife.

Enjoyed a pleasant few day's riding late last week. Hard to believe it's been nearly four years since I'd last ridden all those great Muskoka roads.

Lunch in Rosseau at the Cross Roads was very good indeed.

Sorry, dude, even rode past your house. Would have been good to see you, but it was mid-week and I figured you'd be working.

Next time I'll call for sure.

Hello!

I own a new DR650 and other than taking it on the road I've been at the Yamaha adventures thing at horseshoe valley resort a bit north of Barrie.

I really want to ride off road more but even after joining OFTR (I'm in Richmond Hill now, will be moving to Waterloo in a couple weeks though) I can't seem to find exactly where and with who to ride, and other than being boring, I'm not experienced enough to venture out on my own, I would think.

Any suggestions?
