Busted! I wasn't going to be the first to mention that single track is bush. I could pass driffy's wifes car on that peice of Shield. Real nice scene though. I don't imagine you'll have to worry about the lower scene on the P2D.

Went to the Jim Kelly ride on Sunday with the ODSC and OFTR. Was anybody else there?
120km loop, about half of that was single track, had to stop in some cases to get one side of my bars through at a time, my guards are all marked up from the bark.

Some of the the Rally Connex guys were riding adventures and one on an SE, they did the loop first putting up the arrows, gotta take my hat off to those guys.

So Robbie, would you be hosting another muskoka ride soon then?

Sorry Robbie, jrcool's birthday this weekend so I'm a homedad.

Next time for Muskoka is the long weekend. I'll be North from June 28th to July 7 aprox. Planning a Segiun ride with the kids on their own bikes this year. It should be a muddy mess. I wouldn't mind disappearing for the day to check out the Nipissing route mid week away from the tourists.

I will keep you posted re our actual dates as we confirm our lodging.

Time to finish off the road tires and get that beemer ready for some trials.

What sort of speeds are You guys travelling at on the slab??

My bike levels off at about 95Km/h. I may have to resort meeting up with You lot at the trailhead and leave the night before

I wish I could. I'm away this weekend. It's been a pretty busy summer so far and I don't see much opportunity ahead. It's pretty depressing. Screw it, I'm gonna go roll in the dirt then park in front of the LCBO on Bloor and gaze at my GPS. Guys stare, chicks dig it!

I haven't put many k's on the bike lately but that's probably not a bad thing since I have to get at the brakes real soon.

Cheers

Fin

Just got news of a possible schedule change... I think I'll be able to join you guys for this one... Phun phun phun!

Why don't the Southern Ontario Poser Crew meet in Hockley at the General Store for breakfast at 08:00 and we'll back road it up to Southwood Rd 13 and Balla etc for a lunch meet with RobbieO and crew at Ella's?

An 09:00-09:30 depart from Hockley would have us comfortably in Pt. Carling for lunch.

How 'bout it boys?

I hear ya Fin! I'm getting married in July, and renovating my Whitby house to put it on the market. I've already bought a new place in Toronto (closes in July), so I'm under a big time constraint. I want to get out and ride and I have no time to do it. If it wasn't for the commuting on the bike I think I'd be driven completely mad!
