Now to do that same water crossing, you better bring scuba gear.

Seriously.

Friend of mine is in the Frankford Offroad Club and he watched a friend bury his truck in there and I'm not sure if they ever got it out. Just sayin' ya better watch out for submerged obstacles.

Story was that a jeep went through first followed by another then the truck went the same route and found a "Hole," sunk up to the upper windows and they couldn't tow it out. The guy was going to come back another day with a tractor. I never heard if it was rescued.

My friend came through in his jeep going the other way just before the sinking. Said the water was just under his windshield with the curl. And like a true 4X4 freak he got out, cracked a beer and watched the others trek through. Then thought " Holy shit I was pretty close to that hole!"

The pix were pretty funny, water... roof... water...

Cheers

Oh, OK, the freak cracked a beer. BTW, I've read stories where guys go LOOKING for places to bury bikes up to the choke knob and beyond. Even seen pix, you'd think they were photoshopped but noooooooo......

Okay, now you're starting to lose me, pal.

With hundreds of miles of fine gnarly gravel and good trails in your back yard, why in dog's name would you go looking for snot like that?

Are you guys just a bunch of frustrated winch operators, or what?

When they go, I'm grabbing a good quad with a winch and a trailer big enough for a bike, and following them.

"Oh, stuck again?"

"I take Visa..."
