yeah boys, just got back from ordering the shirts.
I got a few extras in a variety of sizes beyond what people have ordered
as I had a hunch this would happen.

Working on RRO as we speak. Updates soon.

OFTR and your $50:
Who's living off this and what are they actually doing? There was mention of the benefit of a "paid representative speaking on our behalf" in here somewhere (or on the ODSC site). Just like religion, the best way to ruin a movement or cause is to pay someone to do it. It always devolves into self interest imediately afterwards. Follow the money.

Clubs:
They usually form when someone figures out a way to generate revenue from a leisure activity. It rarely ends well. Beware the man with club ambitions. Follow the money.

ymmv,

What's the deal with that Lornce?

ATV's, dirt bikes and 4X4's make a bloody mess out of back country trails. It shouldn't be permitted in civilized society.

Rail trails are okay as long as they keep to the gravel rail beds and don't disturb the surrounding countryside.

Loud mufflers drive me insane.

You want more?

Lornce

c'mon,

why not just try and pass on respect for the trails and try to teach a little understanding to respect and keep the trails as healthy as possible... I have agree that 4x4s and Atv's are out to wreck trails and go mudding to carve them up. But me I am about nature. I go into the woods to enjoy it.. Not to wreck it.. I know I am leaving a carbon footprint and I wish I didn't but I try to be as careful as possible.. I love the woods.. And you saw my cottage I don't have a ton of trails ripping it up everywhere.. Same as No exit saw my place... I am not into destruction but preservation, so I can enjoy the earth... Roads, rail trails, still go through the forests. what makes them better?

Overuse makes a bloody mess out of trails. Responsible use doesn't. Tread lightly, as they say. Ganaraska Forest isn't a bloody mess, neither is Simcoe Forest or Northumberland Forest. Paying for the upkeep of trail systems helps to ensure that they don't become a bloody mess.

I'm with you on the loud pipes.

Give us some more. I'm sure this conversation has been played out before, just maybe not in this venue. I think it might be educational for all to hear the different opinions.
