then it would be an off-the-shelf 950se, not a custom 990ser (unless i'm mistaken, ktm never built a 990se).

I'm flattered Charlie - I wish it had been....

I might be getting on for being nearly as quick as that on the tarmac (pavement for any of our colonial cousins who may be looking it) but on the dirt.....

I'd like to know what sort of tyres he was running. I'm guessing at race wets but.....

Me too. Takes a lot of balls and talent to ride at speed on dirt, I nearly ended up in a tree trying to keep up with Simon Pavey and a copper on HP2’s.
I would love a lesson on a speedway track, thing is, it’s so easy to reach silly speeds off road with these bikes, lose it and its a biggy. Off road wets makes sense but you won’t get much life out of them.

Well....bring it to Malibu when you are done so I can ride it...I guess I should tell Vic I will buy it when he doesn't want it anymore...

seriously though....you will end up with a killer version of the TerraMostro..which is useless offroad per those who have raced them....

Let the duke do what it does....

and the SE do what it does...
