Nope, its the Zumo. Zumos dont care what mapsets were used because it reclacs the route no matter what, doing so to match its internal mapset. Unlike the 478/276c units. If you upload a route that was built using a different mapset then upload it to a say 276c, you will get an error message telling you so.
Nope, its the Zumo, I've see it do this whacky thing with via points on other Zumos.

By God! I think you got it!!

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Select 'Off Road' inb your navigation preferences, then the waypoints are routed "as the crow flys", or if you prefer 'flying carpet'

Don't try to follow routeing, simply point your scooter in the general direction of the next "spot". Have fun choosing your own way to get there. Your maps are not detailied enough to do routeing. Go in 'off road' mode and fly your carpet.

As long as you keep heding in the general direction of the next point, you are OK.

That is not a result of Mapsource, its the Zumo doing that. Those Zumos belong in Mini Vans imho.
+1

Just got back from 2k trip to Arizona, loved my Nuvi (in a motorhome). I could tell what time I would be going through various citys, found some gas stations but didn't need it to find how to follow Hwy 95 from Reno to Hwy 10.

This is the wildest display yet (4 routes, converging onto a location where there is only ONE road - not even an intersection).

Could you post the GPS coordnates for that location.

thanx

For the record, I had a similar thing happen on my 276C. I believe I was somewhere in NM traveling N to S when it happened. Thought I had taken a pic of it but I can't find now.

Yeah, I'm currently in the market for a used (or inexpensive new) GPS and I was REALLY worried about ending up with the dreaded "Mini-Van" type of GPS! Any suggestions for a guy on a budget?

I didn't mark it. But it was somewhere south of Como, Colorado (within 20 miles or so?). Garmin = GPOS ...

(C'mon Google ... own this niche!)

Ah, that explains it - you've somehow turned on the Schrödinger navigation option...

Thanx!

I'll look tonight. I thought I found the location from your screen shot several days ago. But I wanted to make sure. I'm using Delorme XMap7 with a PN-40 and want to see what it would show me.

The Zumo is more geared for mini bikes.
