RFD does not have parking. Just street. There are some lots/garages around. I'll likely metro in.

OK, I'm out. SWMBO and I will be in Charlotte this weekend.

Raise a glass for me, boys.

Sounds like you're really thinking hard about moving down there.

We're thinking hard about moving, we're just not sure where. So far, we've made separate trips to the Triad, Raleigh/Durham, and now Charlotte. The only thing we're sure of is we've just about had enough of this area, and the South Central Kansas Near Bake's House area is too far from any oceans for SWMBO's taste.

This show has really slipped since it moved downtown. There were fewer vendors than last year, and neither Triumph or KTM were there. This show used to be really good when it was at the Dulles Expo Center. It was later in the year so the BMW and Harley demo fleets were present. There were also at least twice as many vendors present, if not more. The fees and nonsense you've got to go through down at that Convention Center coupled with the expense of downtown hotels, trailer parking, and inconveience must have driven many of them out.

I understand there is a show at the MD Fair Grounds in Timonium next month that is a good one. Maybe I'll check that one out.

This might be my last year for the DC show, though I still had a good time.

I was scratching my head wondering why KTM was not present during an International Motorcycle Show. My first thought was that KTM did not value the US market as they are struggling to meet demand in Europe and elsewhere. I did not consider the hassle involved with coming to DC. I wonder if KTM is attending any other U.S. IMS show?

Regardless, I do not believe that I will be attending any future motorcycle show in DC because of the obvious reduction in size and lack of participating vendors.
