I noticed this hasn't been updated in quite some time, and I've added it to my site to help in the tracking since I'm unable to edit the first post.

You can check it out HERE

If there are any updates, please let me know and I'll keep it current. I've added the ability to link to your site, your pictures, etc. So if you want your name linked to anything specific, I'd be happy to do so.

I'm still very new to my bike and it will be undergoing a major overhaul in the next few weeks. I'll document all of it and post it here when it's done :)

Hi guys, mine is behaving the same manners. My mechanic changed the timing chain and the problem persists.
Any idea what's the root of the problem?
Thanks.

Mine was the ground wire didn't have a good contact against the frame. I sanded the paint off at the point of connection, made a heavier more durable ground wire and made sure the frame connection was a good one. I have not a single problem since.

I forgot to mention that when you stop the bike, it's difficult to restart. You need at least 20-30 mins before you could start it.
CDI seems ok.
Grounding issue, I will give it a try!
Thanks bro.

I'm looking for some wider, after-market pegs for my '98 KTM 620 Adv. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for some wider pegs?

Yes, Zip-ty racing has some peg extension that will hook onto your existing pegs. They quoted me $85.95. look to be the way to go

Also, at the top where it said, "Written by Strega" is a default from the Joomla Template that automatically tags every 'article' that I create with my name. I've set it so it doesn't show for that article.

Figured I was just helping keep the information updated.

Guess it's a good thing I don't disagree with anyone :)

I've made a few changes to the page to make it much more clear I am not the one who started the thread, just someone keeping it up to date.

You didn't have to credit me for it on there, though even the original link back here was appreciated. I simply objected to the "Written by" text. It's not the first time I've found something of mine where somebody took credit for the work and it wasn't because of a template (though I now know that it wasn't your intent) so I'm sensitive to it.

Hell, one site was actually linking my pictures and using my words but posting them as their own and collecting advertising revenue from it.

I'll work on getting the registry up to date. I didn't think anybody cared. The post was mostly so people would know how few bikes there were.

OK let's shake on that!

True, not many of us around so let's go back to the bike.
I just got my bike and since it's my 1st KTM in the shed, what other things should I look for and any special care or attention?
