I hope the paint will last. I have no idea what the paint-guy did to them. As far as I know he uses a special primer. We will see. Until now everything is fine....

Nah post them here so we can all see

Sweet looking bike, I'll be interested to hear about how the paint holds up and some more detail on what he used as a primer

I just found a 98 620 a with the low pipes that I'm considering. I just read through most of the thread and can't find much info on if they shake a lot like the early 640 lc4s? Also is 2 up remotely possible mostly just around town?

Here's the email from the seller.. Price is right at about 2g...

Im thinking of selling my 98 KTM Adventure it has about 12k on it and runs great with the exception of the fuel pump no longer works, and the down pipes are cracked. It still runs but when the tank gets below have it starves for fuel soome times. It has good tires and a Happytrail SU rack and a Fisher modified seat, like I said im just thinking so if you are interested make me an offer. Sorry can't load any pictures right now but I'd be happy to send email them.

They don't call em a paint shaker for fun :P

On-road it shakes like Casey Anthony waiting on a not guilty verdict... Too soon?

Off-road it isn't so bad, you get used to it very quickly :)

If you happen ro be riding and break your foot, having a paint shaker will help numb your foot so it doesn't hurt anymore...ask me how I know :)

I have been the proud owner of one since I purchased mine (1,800mi) from Keith A. (of Pick-A-Part Cycles - Evergreen, CO) on October 2nd, 2003. He evidently purchased it from Jeff H. (Sacramento, CA) who bought it from "Motorcycle Performance Center" (Roseville, CA).

What's is the rear tire?
It's a TerraFlex...now sold and built in the USA!

New addition

Hey folks,
what up! this is my first post.

If those numbers posted in the OP are taken from the last four digits of the vin, then this bike is a 1997, VIN# 7868

I'm investigating the value for purchasing for myself, and if not that, what it might be worth to someone else.
The bike is in excellent condition, A family member has it parked with 4k miles.
Please help me identify the value.
KBB says $2000
