So who's been watching college football?

Lots of good bowl games so far. Last nights OSU and West Virginia victories were fun to watch. In tonights game I'll take Penn State and tommorrow I'll take Texas.

How about them Buckeyes!!!

Sugar Bowl was a treat

West Virginia vs Georgia was a great game. The underdog beats the favorite in their own yard. Those freshman Mountaineers had speed and confidence. It was almost like they knew they new after the first few minutes that they were going to win.

Going to go with USC for the Nat' Champ'. I think they could beat many of the NFL teams.

I was glad to see a Big East team have a major win, helps the overall conference, which had been in danger of losing its BCS spot.

And Ohio State was very impressive.

I'd like to see how Ohio State could stack up against USC and Texas the way they are playing right now. I think they are a much better team than they were back when they lost that close game to Texas at the beginning of the year. Troy Smith has come along way, and Ginn is finally doing something.

Too bad we dont playoffs in college football!!!

Oh yeah, if they'd have had the Troy Smith of today back when they played Texas, they'd have won the game. But you know, I'm sure Vince Young has also improved a bit. I think they all tend to when they're so young.

College football is overrated.

I like it better than the NFL. Games seem much more exciting and tend to have closer finishes. I just wish they had a playoff system.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with this. The only thing I can say for the Fiesta Bowl is that Notre Dame's defense has been suspect all year. That was the biggest knock on them from the beginning. The only real speed they have on D is their ex-boxer strong safety.

Tonight's game is simply a filler for tomorrow's USC/Texas matchup. I truly think Texas is going to surprise a ton of people when game time comes. I don't think it's going to be a cake walk like people think. This, Super Bowl, MLB playoffs, and March Madness are great times of year to catch competitive games on a regular basis.

BTW, who juiced WVU's wheaties this week? I didn't realize they were THAT fast on offense

In the non-BCS games....

How great did Wisconsin look? Dogs by 10 1/2 ... Wow!!!

Have the refs from Conf-USA serfaced from that Outback Bowl? Are they in protective custody? Wow what a bunch of very very bad refs...

Sorry Gator fans... but the refs handed you a game there...

My question is why a Conf-USA team is reffering a ame between the SEC and Big Ten? Can't they get a team from another major conf? Maybe a PAC 10 team or ACC / Big 12? Speilman nailed it on the head "This game moves to fast for these refs".

I've got to admit that Ohio State looked pretty impressive in that game. I also liked that kid, Tom Zbikowski for Notre Dame. He made some nice plays.

That's one fast white dude! He ran down several of the very quick OSU players. I guess he's also some sort of nationally ranked boxer.
