+1 - and, as Guzzi are prone to making unannounced running improvements, there's a good chance that the 2012 will be just that little bit better. Small stuff like better fuelling control and things you'll only notice in 10 years, like better harness routing, etc.
So, hang in there for a new, new bike.

Any new News on Availability / Orders?

Has anyone heard of new news regarding 2012 NTX availability or when they will start taking orders?

My local dealer told me January in October/Nov. but hasn't returned Emails since. They're probably passing info from Piaggio and may be reluctant to respond if it keeps changing. I just haven't heard anything.

Anyone else?

No - but I'd like the 8 gal tank for the SouthWest. right now I don't think there is enough delta between a left over 11 and a new '12

Delivery is supposed to be May & the '12 comes with some goodies

ToddHaven at MPH in Houston is saying April/May for the NTX being available. He already has the '12 Norge and Griso SE units on hand. That's a lot earlier than any of the dealers I have talked to.

As far as taking orders, two of the dealers I talked to would take orders now for delivery in the late-June time frame.

Interesting. That's more news than my dealer has given me. Thanks Chuck.

The number I was quoted was real close to $16K. This puts it in the general range of the Yama Tenere, BMW 1200GS/GSA and the Triumph Explorer.

I'm just back from MPH and talking to Mike

Stelvio delivery is scheduled for Q2 - so anytime from 4/1 thru 6/30...that's the only info from the factory

He has an initial alotment of 3 - 1 oragne (spoken for) and 3 black of which at least 2 are spoken for.....one of which is mine

Almost seduced by the beautiful matte green Griso - only time I'm good with bad knees

I thought only the black NTX was coming over and the orange standard next year.

Snuffy,

Go back to Page 136, Entry #2029. As I said, I talked to two dealers shortly after the first of the year and that's the story I got from them. It sounds like the orange bike that MPH is going to receive may be an NTX with the cast aluminum wheels. Should be interesting to see.

I think the orange one was a surprise to them as well

MSRP is about $15.5k - but it comes with alu bags, engine guards, spoked wheels, heated grips and center stand - but they do not have all the specs on what is actually also on the bike

Great avatar; come on you Reds!

I'm on the lookout for a Stelvio - it's only a matter of time.

Thanks Chuck. Between this thread and lurking over at Wild Guzzi i've confused myself. Can't wait to see what the local dealer gets in.
