That is a cool site Kirb. I may have to study it to replace the cig plug on the dash with a powerlet, as all my stuff is powerlet powered.

My left front fork seal is shot again.

EDIT: based on the quantity of fluid that is leaking out (a lot, not just a few drops), maybe the snap ring didn't get properly seated last time. I'll look more closely tomorrow.

Fork seals and bushings ordered anyways, I'm sure I'll need them sooner or later on the Stelvio or the RXV, and they use the same sizes...

This is Sophia.

Hey all, picked up my 2013 NTX from MPH this past Friday, but had to bring her back already as of yesterday afternoon.........for her first service with 920 miles on the clock.
Mike and the crew did a great job doing the delivery set-up on her; I had them install the heated grips and do the turn signal fix along with installing the top box.
I have no issues with her so far, but I did note the minor glitches that have been mentioned, i.e., the clutch groan (no biggie) and a bit of stumbling and vibration right around 3800 RPMs, also no biggie, we'll see how she is after I pick her up tomorrow.
A call to Todd at Guzzitech will also cure that problem.
I may go with a bigger windshield, I get a lot of roaring noise and buffeting no matter how high or low I set the windshield.
I had been lusting after a Stelvio after first seeing one online many months ago and after reading all the reviews and this thread I knew I had to have one.
(Seeing what James Adams did to his bike was a strong selling point for me too. )
I didnt even bother with a test ride.
This is my first Guzzi and I plan on keeping her for a long time.
S'later.

Will these fit on 2012 Stelvio's? I'm sure I read somewhere they'll only fit up to 2010 models.

Congrats!!! Wow it seems like these bikes starting to get noticed and moving out of the showrooms, awesome.

I stopped by to pet mine today, can't friggen wait to ride her home. The wife was with me and she wanted to see the bike real bad as she didn't get to go with me on Saturday. She can't wait to hop on the back......

This will be my first Guzzi also. I'm with you on the long term ownership plan.

Right now I'm trying to decide on a tank bag. I'm thinking the City bag from Bags-Connection. The GS is looking a little too big. I think the City is pretty close in size to the Wolfman Explorer Lite I have now. I like the bag and size but hate the strap mounting.

Anybody think the powered option is worth the crazy $174 extra?

There are likely a lot of other tools in the iTunes store that do the same thing. I just googled "360 Panorama iPhone" and that was the first hit.

I use the Wolfman Enduro bag. The Wolfman Rainier fits well also, but it's quite large. The strap mounting (on both) works just fine.

I definitely think that the powered option for $174 is not worth it; I run a USB charging cable from the jack on the dash to the bag and that works just fine.

You can do your own 'power into the bag' by using the Powerlet kit. I usually use a red hot nail to punch the bolt holes so I get a sealed hole. The ones I have done have always outlasted my ownership of the bike (4-5 different bags/bikes). Low tech but it works just fine.
