Wish I could ride, my son stuffed his R6 into the front of a truck (left turner truck - broken left leg, arm - radius, ulna and humerus in several places, hand) Monday 9th, trying to get him home from U.Va. so he can join my wife who's recovering from a ruptured brain aneurism. I've ridden my new-to-me GS exactly twice. AARRRRRRGGGGHHHH.
Dude, I'm very sorry to hear this. I hope they get better soon.

If I don't have my kids I can ride on Saturday. Sunday will most likely be hangover recovery day.

I hope to have the bike tomorrow. Surely before the weekend.

And Oldno, DAMN sorry to hear about your woes. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Question new to group/ready to ride

I'm new to the group and would be interested in meeting other people who like to ride dual-sport and finding some new roads/trails outside of my home range. My bike is too shiny and I'm sick of watching football. Let me know if I can meet up with you guys this weekend.

Thanks to all you guys for the kind thoughts about my family. I hope you all get to enjoy the weather.
And don't believe iDave when he says he isn't out to break any speed records.

What can I say? I'm glad they are both still here and have a chance to get back to health - could be a lot worse in both cases.
I'll get some riding in later.
Ted

I'm so glad to hear that everyone is coming along. Best wishes to you and yours ... I'll be thinking about you guys.

I notice you are from Gore. That's pretty close to MotoCove, correct? Nice riding over your way. Omar and I have been over there riding several times. One "incident" over there we got shot at and missed, shit at and hit. but we got to ride MotoCove twice for free.
