New v-strom owner
I just picked up my new 2011 wee a week ago & have 120 miles on the odometer. I can't stop staring at it in the garage.

New to me
Got my new to me 2008 VStrom DL1000 a couple of weeks ago, love it. Especially coming from a DRZ 400. She drives great, couldn't be any happier.

Picked up my new to me 2004 Vee a couple of weeks ago. getting used to riding it and loving it. I haven't had time to personalize it much yet, but I have some plans. just need some time and $$.

Has anyone used a motorcycle jack to change the front/rear tires? Is there a sweet spot to place the jack and if I remove either wheel on the jack will it still stay on or will the weight difference upset the balance too much?
I have a harbor Freight jack

I have the same Jack, used it this weekend to remove both tires. Worked fine, I have a skid plate though. Without a skid plate you can use some wood to get around the muffler on the front, and put the back arm on the suspension pivot.

I need to get me a motorcycle jack. Problem is I have other toys the $$ goes to first
 I wish I was getting 50+ mpg's on my Vee but I'm still happy with the high 30's and low 40's I do get with 13000 miles on an 06. Sent from Chad's iPhone using Tapatalk

My 2004 Aprilia Scarabeo 500 and 2008 Suzuki DR650SE got traded in today on a slightly-used (1700 miles) 2012 WeeStrom. I am now down to one motorcycle in the garage. I can already tell this is a lot smoother and quieter ride than the thumpers.
