new and satisfied
hi... am a new owner of VSTROM DL1000, bought a used K9 with only 3,+++ miles on the clock. so far, am enjoying every mile that we take together and am very SATISFIED with its performance. (thanks to my friend, HERC, who also owns one for introducing the VEE to me).
right now, i do have a 2007 BMW G650 XCHALLENGE in my stable, and am willing to let go of her (BMW), to find a small brother of my VEE... a WEE... thanks to strom riders. cheers....

V-Strom Gripes
Having traveled 19,000 miles in the last 3 months, I have some important complaints about the V-Strom 650. These are its lack of ground clearance and short suspension travel. The topes in Mexico and rocks off road regularly punish my bash plate. It is an almost perfect reliable adventure tourer otherwise.

Nice video!
The stock springs are too lightweight for that kind of riding. Have you done anything to beef them up?

At least I'm not crazy. I'm taking my Leo system off to put stock on, have it all removed minus that last bugger section.

Anyone know if a 530 chain upgrade kit (chain, front and rear sprockets) intended for the Vee will fit the Wee? Is everything the same in that department?

SV racing parts can hook the brother up.
Most competitive prices also.

Regarding the rear header. You don't need to shock drop, a little patience, hand cramps, wobble head Allen wrenches, and a jointed extender get the job done.
On a side note I have a full Leo exhaust system for sale now.

Putting "On" the system seemed easier. Probably because of the 2 hours of WTF during taking it off.
