Vee for me

I've had my Vee for about six months now. Great bike but I have done a lot to get the bike I want.

Here's a pic right after I got it. It hardly looks the same now.

love my wee

Had my DL650ABS only a few months, man i love that bike. Was riding a ZX6R before the wee, have now realized how enjoyable (and comfortable) motorcycling can be. It's great to be able to ride such a wide variety of roads. Wish i had one years ago

Wee love it!

It's been two weeks with the Wee Strom and I'm just loving it!
I'm upgranding from the XT660, wich is a excellent bike also, but on road the DL650 is far better.
These first 1.400 km were great!

The sad part of the story is the price here in Brazil, R$ 35.000,00 (about 20,6 k USD).

Abraços,
Linhares

No pics yet....

But I finally got a Vee!!!!

My VN900 ended up breaking down near a Suzuki Dealership and the parts to fix my beloved 900 were going to take between 4 - 6 weeks to get to Canada.

Although I loved the bike..I wasn't about to let it cost me 4 - 6 weeks of riding! Dealer had a DL1000 with 16K on the clock and we did the deal right there. All that I ended up with was a lighter wallet and some tripus interruptus.

HAVING A BLAST on it too....

Wow ... old thread

I got my DL1000 in 2003, rode the crap out of it. Won a mileage award and had some big time fun. I parked it in 2007 with 70,510 km on the clock.

I just got it running again and will have it back on the road next year with a sidecar.

These are very good motorcycles. Stoopid fast for an old guy that was looking for a comfy "standard" type bike to ride. If the Wee had been an option I might have gotten the smaller bike ... nah ... there is some hooligan left in me yet!
