1999 XRL just bought with 2200 miles! DG slip on, DynoJet jet kit, Uni filter, Seat Concepts seat! Love it! Just ordered a large Manracks rack for it.

Shed the front fender, for a Super Moto. helps with air flow to the motor, that is deflected by the OEM fender. Shed the TV set on the rear fender, for the Maier taillight. Just a few ideas for you to think about. I Love my 2003, too!

Yeah, it's the one xr's only sells for the xr600. I'd been trying to fit up a TM40 but I should have had the adapter sleeves made offset. I'd had the non pumper mikuni on my 93 for years and after transferring it over to the 05 just got completely worn out.
I ended up just getting a new non pumper just like I had to have something to use. I was having trouble getting the cable wheel to clear on the pumper, I may cut some off and just run a single cable.

Jetting Recomendations
I just finishing up putting the motor back together and wondering would be a good base line for the jetting. The carb has the mods done. 10.5 102 JE Piston and a hot cam, staintune stainless header uni filter with the snorkel removed from the air box. Sea level on the west coast of Fl. Would a 55 160 be a good place to start?

Yea, I'd start with a 58 and see if you can turn the mix screw all the way in. If it doesn't stumble or stall completely, go down to the 55. I'd imagine your main would need to be a 160 at least.

Not tried it yet. Work and the Pats Jets game got in the way.

So since Ive been out of the loop for awhile, I thought I'd just ask this. Has anyone found an aftermarket replacement for the swing arm guard? The one that goes around the arm just behind the front sprocket. I know Honda charges like $50 for it. Also might the XR600R one work? Or would that be the same part in Honda and thus cost the same? Maybe if it worked there is an aftermarket one for that?
