he and I talked about this, I have the 6.2 or 5.9 whatever it's sold as, I get 6.2 in it.... I think there was a clearance issue on the XRL forks, but I don't remember what it was, I have the CRF front end now.....

I want a couple sets too, soft ties on 1-1/8" bars are a PITA. Thanks again for hosting the acerbis 5.8 installation guide, it was a great reference when making my own mounting hardware.

So, some issues I have with the kickstart that were not mentioned anywhere that I read...

It DOES hit the triangle that sticks out above the foot peg

It looks like I may have to find a new way to mount my rear brake switch, I know the spring needed to be moved but the switch was a surprise.

Barron,

I had the same issues, but the switch just needed a little massaging into position and the triangle only is an issue if you use the kickstarter. When I kick mine, the lever gets caught on the return stroke so I just reach down and pop it back up past that guard. I figure the kickstart is only there for emergencies so I am not going to worry about it.

You could always hammer that triangle in a little bit or cut it off.

Hand-pump huh? that's one way to get a work-out!
