It looks like I may have to find a new way to mount my rear brake switch, I know the spring needed to be moved but the switch was a surprise.

After thinking about this for the past three days... I'm left with no choice.
I had a family problem in the beginning of the year that drained me emotionally and financially that I'm having trouble recovering from...

I'm almost with you on this, but for a multi-day adventure bike air cooling is sooo appealing. Every time I read that someone's trip was ended from a radiator issue I love the L more. Modern FI is INCREDIBLY reliable, though, so how about an air-cooled FI bike with a perimeter ali frame, 700cc, maybe 45 horses, large torque, six speed tranny in a 270 pound package. A bike for the ages. Oh well, when I get my new CW motor with the NX gears, small lithium battery, CRF frond ended machine put together, it'll be close

The hand pump actually works great for pushing oil into the motor, I cut the stem off of a bad tube then push it into the oil line from the head to the tank (with the tank side still attached) before I start it. As soon as I started it I had oil squirting out of the banjo bolt

That's a great thread! Thanks for the reassurance with the brake pedal/switch issue, I'll work it out. I might have to put the original crankcase cover back on and figure it out later due to time constraints though

Sorry to hear this but remember, you can always get another bike. Family stuff is always more important than bikes IMO. Hang in there.

I wonder if this work in The L , and be able to hook up the decompressor thang ,

specs would be nice , I emailed him to ask about that , prolly gonna need a bunch of compression to make it work right is my guess.

After a 3 month hiatus, I'm finally back on a BRP

'94 XR650L needs a little TLC...Got 609 fat bars, DID ERV2, renthal superlight sprockets, and some other goodies for it

So happy to be back on two wheels...managed to buy it in arizona from philadelphia

I need a new rear fender, and a headlight...whos got what i need
