Here's the box when it showed up

Are you fu$%ing kidding me?! Pull it off the bike, wrap it in a mailer envelope and throw it in a box?! Dont even let the funky, burned up, nasty, stinking oil drain out of it?! The Mailman is now my BFF. Not to mention my wife. She was thrilled when she received the box

What is this? an oil cooler or used tampon?

WTF... Cleaned it up... scraped off the orange goo and it leaked like a sieve!

At least Goober was good enough to refund my cash so it worked out OK. eBay... buyer beware
red, that sux! i've had pretty good luck on ebay (member since 1998!). of course, pics can be decieving, but..... hopefully this one works out well. we'll see. i just wish ppl would tape up or plug any holes from any part like that. drives me nuts. pics from the auction ad...

I've got the Enduro tank bag too. Looks kind of small when you first see it but it holds a surprising amount of stuff. One thing I don't like about tang bags in general...you can't scoot all the way forward in the seat.

How do you like the big XR? I've heard the steering is heavy on them.?

I'm not much of a Harley fan but I do like the looks of the XR1200 and if I had some extra cash, might own one.

Time to start transforming the big girl into a much more capable off road machine.

While I am at it, square headlight bye-bye, same with the front mask. New Dakar Style mask with twin LEDs fron Sanjon.

I am so ready to start this.

Keep us posted on your progress!

+1. When I was young I used to dream (literally) of rowing the gears on a GP bike or a TZ750. The TZ sounds like the devil. How fun to have a 500 smoker come on song at 100+ then pull a fat wheelie.

Not a Harley guy, but I do like the XRs and that Guzzi sure is pretty. I knew there was some reason why I liked this group.

Had one just like it. Huskys were the rage for enduro's around here back then. When the 430 came out it was unreal how many people rode them.

Yikes!

I want my 100+ wheelies to be thin, not fat!

About fifteen years before that, someone we remotely knew had a big Husky (or maybe a big Bultaco naw...). He let me "try it out" a little - it was insane, put the Yami 360 to shame, but I hadn't learned enough to be able to really ride it, plus he was very protective of it (who could blame him; the rest of us had 100s, 125s, and 250s the biggest - coulda bought two or three of our bikes for what that Husky cost him).
