On a side note I think he meant 14/48

With the NX 2nd gear, 13/50 is the best for my riding style, and I kept all the other sprockets and chains so I have a setup for most rides. 13/50 is ok for 2 lane pavement, but not much faster.
I'd love to alter my tranny gearing.....down the road when/if I ever get to rebuild time, I might do the NX gearing as well as a CW hot-rod engine
I can't imagine 13/50 gearing with my stock tranny, that would be some insane dirt acceleration
That would be one time where pigs truly did fly

Maybe, just maybe SOMEONE wants a stock exhaust to experment with so their OEM system remains in tact. Or maybe CW wants cores to make his custom mufflers out of. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeez give me a break!

Yeah, at the time that pic was taken there were Harley, CRF and NX parts on the bike. It was fun and I loved the way it looked but going back to OEM (and actually making it street legal again) was a real P.I.T.A.

I used to peruse Craigslist a lot last winter looking at bikes. Usually check once a week. The few times I didn't look everyday, I always missed good deals.(story of my life it seems )
I look today at the local CL site today and someone posted last Tuesday...a 2001 XRL with 2700 miles, the kicker though, no title, $1200obo!
Now I am usually not interested in bikes with no title but I E-mailed him about it anyway. It never hurts to have a low mile parts bike.
I of course would check the VIN to make sure I wouldn't burn my hands when touching it. So far I haven't heard a word. I'd say it was scooped up rather quickly.
