My oil cooler is working great, Christian! Thank you for asking.

The small, Baker Precision cooler has proven to be very effective cooling my engine oil. However, the unit is small enough so I don't have any delayed engine warm up during colder weather.

I haven't read that thread in a while, and I don't remember if he gave any details regarding the source of the sensor itself. He hooked the sensor up to an LED light on his dashboard, as shown in the following video. Danny does good work.

I was under the impression from Danny's discussions of the device, that he made it himself based on his own design. If I remember correctly, he had trouble sourcing a cheap pressure sensor that would work reliably because the oil pressure was very low, and his reasoning for a flow sensor was that flow was much more important anyway. For example, it's possible that you could have pressure but have no flow if something is clogged up. No flow = dead mo mo.

Seems like a good device to me.

Whats a good price for this bike thats at a dealer? Its a 2012 with 2000 miles. Has a bigger tank and Britannia composite GPS(no gps unit) ready windscreen, Seat Concepts touring saddle and Iron Rider rear luggage.

so this is something have been reading lately on a lot of diy and even the more famous oil cooler installs...

what consitites delayed in a time frame for example and what are you guys doing to not damage the head by "warming" up

warming up should be done running through the gears slowly around the block till decent temps are acheived.

this is a warning to all of us who think they are doing good by idling away till the engine warms...if you do do that at least keep up rpms in th 2k range

why

READ! jajajajajaja(has to do with posts above, you know the whole flow vs. pressure scenario!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

peace dudes

That bike is very nicely upgraded! How much is the dealer asking for that bike?

I wonder why anyone puts so much effort and expensive into modifying a bike so nicely, then trades it in at the dealership with only 2000 miles on the odometer?
