My theory is if it doesnt make it lighter , faster or have a function its useless. You can have functional bling , but bling on its own is useless.

Sat since sept? oct? cranked right up

My garage has a very constant temp, no stabil, didn't have to charge the shorai lipo at all, cranked right up after draining the carb and letting some fresh drain out.

Plenty of snow to play in still, but my XCMH rear is pretty worn.

Poor headlight...

Stock taillight plus a bit of 16ga sheet metal gets you:

My ex with the tube removed from the end cap, and end cap in place:

And a rare shot of a pert of the garage:

Other random crap ("Random Junk" on flikr) is at:

If you put a lowering link on your bike along with the CRF forks it's gonna be like an old school chopper with the ass end down low and the long forks.
Than I will be stuck doing the fork lowering also, best I get moving on the cbr rims and see where I am at from there. Possibly a seat shave. I don't remember the XR650R being this much of a height issue and seems to me I could get one foot down no problem. Is the XRL that much higher or have I shrunk? And if all else fails I guess it could go into the project pool and come out something along these lines.

The XRL is higher, and has more ground clearance.

I love the Shorai battery.
Life looks good at Dave's house. Having all that room and huge garage is awesome.

How many miles do you expect to get from that XCMH? Mine went about 2500. pretty disapointing considering the cost.

I ride so few miles per year, it will dry-rot first. Unfortunately.

I typically get only 1500 out of any tire, MT-21, terrorflex, doesn't seem to matter.

I'm gentle on the road, work the hell out of it off-road.

Big garage is great, but it just makes room for more crap. Finding stuff, oh boy.

There's another section to the side as long and 1/2 as wide as the pic.
And a 3-car garage size behind all the rest.

The house is a little rough, so it evens out. Damn roof needs replacing, too.
That's a lot of roof!

I have a cheap chinese mill and an enco lathe still not set up after the move almost 8 years ago, I keep figuring out ways to use the drill presses and the grinder and the sander and chisels and files to do what I need to.

I have been looking for an opportunity to do something with 'the facility', so far I just work on the cars, the bike, and my RC planes.

It's a tall PIG. Its almost funny how far my foot is from the ground sitting flat centered on the seat.

I second that. Im 5'7" and everyone I ride with makes fun of me because I get on my bike like a horse because its so tall and i can swing both of my legs while riding down the road and not even be close to touching the ground.

I was seeking a lowering link for awhile, but read about too many negative effects. With a reasonable tire it isn't too bad, with a terrorflex or a 140 series MT-21 it's a little tall for me.
