Or the exhaust noise drowned out the knobby noise... had to get the new tire "scuffed in"
Cool, look forward to other updates.

No unbearably loud, probably not as loud as the 606's, but these are the first knobbies I've tried on it so I don't have anything to compare it to.
Loud tires save lives.

The MT21 takes a few to five hundred miles to really get noisy.

650 vs 250 rear rack

hey guys. Wondering if you could tell me if the rear bolt holes from a 650 would match a 250. I have a rack by manracks from my 650L and wondering if it would fit on a buddies 250L.

Thanks for your help.

Just reporting back I have been riding the XRL in in off road trim with the crf450 front on with no real problem on the street and I am SHORT! I thought it would be more of a problem but worse thing is that my acrobatics look a little silly at times. We are talking very tip of my toes to stop. Love the torque!

Thanks for all the info so far.

Is there anything in the decompression mechanism that would possibly make loud noises like that?

I hear ya on changing some tires out. I damn near busted a gut with one of the first D-606's I mounted...with two 8" tire irons. It took about three times before I broke down and got longer irons.

I have run D606s before and they are a decent tire both on and off road (loud as hell on the road... louder than the D952). I absolutely love the MT21 up front (second season on it). The last time I had a matched set was when I tried the D606 front and rear.... hopefully this will be a better package deal

From earlier this evening... Bath time?
