That is what I did. Brian's fee is very reasonable by the way. Now I can take the long rides with more peace of mind.

VALVES Maaaaaan!

For those of you who have done this....

What is the best tool for removing (and obviously re-installing) of valve guides?

I need to install fresh seals and guides, but I'm a bit stumped on removal of the guides.

(applies to 07 XR650L)

Arai XD for sale

Size XL, 62 CM. $100 bucks shipped to lower 48 states. POR elsewhere.
The original XD. Since this photo was taken the clear top vents, rear vents, and side plates/screws have been replaced with new. The front nose vent dose not work but the Service Pavilion can replace it. Although you don't need this vent. Lining is good, minor scratches here and there on the outside. GoPro mount included. Visor very good. If you were to buy one of these helmets new you could not afford the graphics model. Since it's mostly an off road helmet it's age is not a concern ( I do not know it's manf. date ). PM please. I'm selling because I like my Airoh better.

Fritz,

Arai stamps the mfr date on the buckle strap.

B,

The Arai helmet is a nice piece. I find the XD to be a bit noisy compared to their street or dirt helmets.
