Wow, this is one hell of a rack! Has anyone experienced is? Seen it in the wild? Tried it out? It looks like there's not going to be a problem with the subframe. Too much? Too ugly? Or awesome?

I just ordered one! It looked big enough for anything, I never run a passenger, I do use a Wolfman Beta Plus Rear Bag but I am sure I can make it work; also, it leaves the little factory bag in place. So, now I can carry anything on the back with bungee cords and straps and cinchers -- and if someone where to want to climb up onto my bike, it's perfectly fine. A little expensive, but it looks pretty brill, considering how afraid I am of breaking a subframe. And it looks like a rack worthy of a round-the-world tour, even though the XR650L's a terrible bike to choose for that -- especially mine, which is quite a lemon.

Dooga, The CycleRack is not only good for picking cherries, but the frame makes for a very convenient handle to extract the XRL out of a ditch on a lonely fire road. How do I know this? Ask SuperSamurai, he testifies the truth.

Has Mike closed up his business? I sure did want one of his center stands for my XRL.

I've had one for four years or so and it's been through the wringer. The TAT and countless other trips. Never a problem with it or the sub frame. Great guys that make them too. Here's this past weekend in the Smokies and Western North Carolina. Four days camping and exploring the dirt and gravel. I frequently carry a three man tent and sleeping bag plus pad and camp chair. This rack is perfect for that.

Another view of the rack

The only issue I have seen is using this and wolman side racks together getting the battery side sover off is not possible without removing the seat.

Purple drake has one on his bike, had to yard it out of a ditch yesterday and with out that rack it would have been difficult.I say its worth it.
