Hi all,

Gonna spend about 9 weeks in europe this summer. Italy/France/Germany/Spain/Holland. Like to know where the dealers are in case I need something.

Thanks

There is one in Oxford, but Ive heard odd things about some of the staff...cant remember exactly......

Im in Barcelona, dont be a stranger. Here you have Muntañá (bought my bike there, but dont get it servided there), Control 94 - the only bike only dealer in Barcelona. Also a new one new bcn called Cano, in Sant Cugat near to bcn.

Marti you need any help whilst you are on the road - PM me take my details and if I can help I will. Not clear if you are on two wheels or not, but just remember ther price you pay for stuff varies a lot in Europe. So.......plan!

Not sure if they still do, but BMW put out a good European motorcycle dealer directory. It has a BMW part #. Mine is in Germany, so I can't help with the #

I'm in Normandy, France and Paris. Closest dealer in Normandy is in Rouen. Paris has many dealers, amongst others a real BMW corporate shop - their flagship garage.

If you need more info, and/or want to meet up, PM me.

I'll call BMW today...doubt they still print it, but who knows. They used to put out a nice dealer booklet for the US but stopped 2 years ago.

Thanks all.

Hi Marty

I have a copy in paper that came with my '04 RT, I can probably get a copy from a local dealer, or burn you a copy and get it to you.

Looking foward to meeting you this spring/summer.

Marty,
BMW/ Munich stopped printing a Euro-wide bike dealer directory about 2 years ago. It was part #01 99 9 787 367.f; and you'd be lucky to still find/ acquire an old copy from a Euro dealer. BMW now prints 'Service Europa 200x/200x,' most recently part #01 99 9 787 367; but this prints only national BMW website URLs + national road service numbers (not specific dealer address/contact info). Now,to get specific national bike dealer lists, you need to go to each BMW national website, e.g., www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk, www.bmw-motorrad.de, www.moto.bmw.it, find the 'dealer locator' function/page, then--in some cases--you can print/ download a complete dealer list for that country. In other words, you wind up creating your own list. Some BMW national subsidiaries may still distribute print directories--only for their country; otherwise it's become a national-level web-based function. You can link to all Euro BMW bike sites from the corporate portal www.bmw-motorrad.com. To my knowledge, there's no other way currently to access a 'complete' Euro-wide bike dealer list. I haven't seen any 'aftermarket' Euro-wide BMW dealer list; if you find one, please share.

Court,

Thanks for the info. That is the only way unless someone has them loaded onto a 2610 gps. A couple of the guys seem to have an old list.

BMW portal, www.bmw-motorrad.com, links to all European BMW websites, including Czech Rep, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lith, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine. Each national site usually has a dealer list; you may have to do some 'creative' navigation & translation to find the dealer list

Wow, name from the past.

Met you a few years ago riding with John Hermann, you had 'borrowed' an 1150 GS from AG when they were first introduced. I was the canuck riding a VFR, we were all together up in the Alps.

Small world.
