Who has the most tricked-out DR ?

Lets light this pipe one more time and pass it around.
I was reading the thread about Gaspipe's awesome XR650R project.... it got me thinking, if someone spent that kind of effort and money on a DR650, couldn't it be some sweetheart of an Adv bike?

Anyway, if some of you creative folks have a favorite project DR, show it off here. I just wanna learn and enjoy. I just can't get over how cheaply folks will sell their under-appreciated DR650's.... it ain't right

Zapp22, Thankyou for starting a DR650 thread! I was about to, but you beat me to it. I agree that this bike is underappreciated, even Peter Egan of CW fame agrees.

Mine is getting tricked out every month with more on the way.
So far: Eibach fork springs, Corbin seat, DJ jetting, skid plate, IMS tank, Renthal RM bend bars, Moose Racing hand guards, mirror extenders, Racer T exhaust (wav file here: http://savefile.com/files/8597285 ) 14-16t sprockets, Kientech airscrew, DRZ250 tail light, Suz tail rack, L-side engine case cover...planned: rear suspension and tires.

This may sound wierd, but I'm 6'2" and I like the look of XRL's being up in the air, I would like to get DR up higher on it's suspension,it looks more purposeful for the dirt, anyway to do this without breaking the bank?

I just got this one. 1996 set up as commuter. Jet kit, Yosh slip on,air box mod, Twin air filter, Acerbis tank, 14/45 gearing. Cosmetically challenged so no one would think about stealing it.

Right on guys, those are some great lookin bikes. Keep 'em coming.

So far each pic makes me want to throw a leg over and go adventuring. Of course I find a simple, utilitarian machine to be very sexy when it comes to adventure bikes so I'm a bit jaded . Gosh, I feel kinda like I'm looking at another mans lady.....you don't mind?

Its a full staintune system with a larger header pipe - a definite hp improvement. It has a pleasant but purposeful note.

With the end cap (baffle?) out it goes even harder - but its a bit too noisy that way. I like to stay on speaking terms with my neighbours! Plus noise can be a bit tiring on longer trips even with earplugs in.

Mine's pretty tame in comparison to most of yours', but I thought this thread was such a cool idea I wanted to support it.
