Thanks

It was fun. You should go for it. The bad news is it took 3 bikes to see the one pictured here.

Feck me do you use that to launch potatoes at the neighbours or something

That's the biggest exhaust outlet i've ever seen on a bike

Since the thumper GS sounds like a sewing machine normally, I'm going to guess that dtl's thumper just sounds like a really loud sewing machine!

In short, don't be put off by F800GS reliability reports on the net, or any reliability reports on the net for that matter - a few posts get cross-referenced and before you know it, your electric toaster will kill us all on 31/12/99...

I've got a Scorpion Can on mine and it sounds great, like a 650 single should!

I took the baffle out and it was just too loud so I put it back in. Unfortunately I didn't tighten the bolt that holds the baffle in enough and the bike spat the baffle out when I was riding through my local towns highstreet and blipped the throttle. Luckily I found the baffle and was able to put it back in tight again!

Mrs Ps F650 has the standard can and it sounds like a sewing machine......!

FP.

+ 1
Staintune pipe

I think it sounds great with the plug out, but my riding buddies have complained so I put it back in.

only for spectators and bystanders, it's not a problem when you're riding it ..... you can't hear the exhaust over the intake anyway
