Hey Miles,
What are hyper lights and light buddies? Also, Does the headlight modulator do what seems obvious. ( Makes the headlight dim and bright so cars notice you)?
Also BTW, I just got the Dakar screen and I really like it. I makes a huge difference.
I wanted to get a Mandarin F650 but, I didn't for two reasons.
1. my boyfriend has a Mandarin '01 1150GS ( perhaps a little too cute)
2. BMW Mandarin clashes with Ducati yellow. (px of both would look off.)

You can see alot of thought went in to that, huh. If you ask my mother what kind of car she drives she would tell you Teal. :):

I have a black one and my bikes matches it quite nicely:cool:

Hiya tully! ya know, i really dig yer avatar.

hyperlites are aux brakelights madeout of matrices of superbright red leds and mount somewhere around your taillight with good foam adhesive and wire-in really easily. You should be able to get them from your dealer. About $30, i think. Worth it. Spend the time to aim them.

light buddies are things that turn your turnsignals into running lights. there are also run-n-lights that replace your turnsignal sockets with 1157 auto two-filiment bulbs...hence the running light and turn signal. hmmm...maybe i'm cornfused. I know what the run-n-lights are, but i'm not 100% on the light buddies.

note, it may be illegal to run ambers in the rear in your area. check the laws.

thanks fish, (the avator)

and thanks fish, (the info)

seems worth it. I'll look into that when the bike is back at the shop for a recall. (I think BMW is about to announce it, something about the rear fender.) I'll wait to hear it officially I guess and then post a new thread to the 2002 owners.

Oh, and just as I was about to order some flames I took a look at my bike to check placement. There's no room for flames on the f650's. BMW has put all sorts of fancy plastic designs right next to the emblem. Oh well.
Another bike. Another time. Cool websites though.
