I have the factory luggage for when my wife and I do the B&B runs on pavement for the weekend. There are more than enough gas stations around on those trips, but my brother and I like to head into the middle of nowhere at any hour so the extra fuel is handy. I throw my Seal-line dry bags over the back and my tent and cooking stuff on the seat behind me and away we go.
They're the standard Acerbis guards with the 7/8" mount kit. I ordered the large shields for them and find that they do a good job of keeping my hands dry, even in fairly heavy rain.

Tanks and Mounts

Hey 4-stroke, the mounting plates and tanks are for ATV's. The brand is "Kolpin" and I found them at a local bike shop. I've seen them at other shops as well. The bolt and plates work with the stock racks, you just have to be creative.

Barricade, as in highway department safety barricade, "road closed" type orange. At least that's my opinion of where they came up with the name, even though they missed the color by a mile! Out on the left coast we refer to that sort of color as "CalTrans" orange

Thanks for that - road closed - but not to Uly ! - bit sad - bit sneaky - do you think the colour scheme people at Muell really are that clever - I hope so.
I spent a little while in southern California in the early 80's. Is pee wee Herman still big there ?
