At Homecoming 2010, we all stopped by Erik's new/old place. He had a several sets that EBR was blowing out. I should have bought a set.

Make it home safe brother. Can you post a pic or get someone to throw one up of how the tool tube is mounted to the bottom of the bag?

I have had 2 sitting in my garage for 2 years and just never got around to it

I'll email my dad and ask him if he can get a pic. Not that it matters, but it's a fuel bottle. I'm planning to get a couple of 1 gallon tour tube bottles to mount for an epic trip when I'm done with this place.

Not sure how this would work with the Hepco Becker panniers... But this is how I mounted my tool tubes with the SW Motech rack. I use my panniers as a table and seat when camping. So this keeps the bottom of the panniers free to sit flush to the ground.

Also, I think the stock bags are going the way of the Dodo to make room for something bigger and more durable. I like the touratech 41l panniers, but not the price. Ouch!
