Here's my 06 Uly

Here's some pics taking it camping!

Farkles so far... K&N race filter, EBR Race ECM re-mapped(averaging 50MPG!!), comfort kit, 07 progressive rate springs, powder coated rims to match paint, new wheel bearings, Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen, Drummer Race exhaust.

Since photos have been taken... now has MSR bark busters, Hella lights, Palmer windscreen adjustable mount, Happy Trail Mojave bags, Wrapped headers, 2nd set of rims with Conti TKC's, sintered front brake pads, XR650L mirrors.

Spares off fleabay... fuel pump, drive belt, ecm.

Went to Overland Expo 2013 and was the only Buell there, sure was a German sausage fest though... BMW, KTM(yes I know they are Austrian, close enough though) etc...

That's what I wanted to see is placement. The actual canister is easy to get or even make. I just have no imagination on where to put them. I got tons of storage with my three hard bags, tank bag, and tail bag plus two under seat bags. No they both don't fit, I ordered one not knowing I had one when I bought the bike.

Glad it is not much over 40 degrees here, if it was much hotter the snow melt might be a problem

Just a quick 100 mile day, but it was what the doctor ordered
What's the big tank on the back?

That's his tour tank, giving him an extra three gallons or so of fuel. I still think I wanna do that.

That's almost double the mileage of the bike I would love to do that but I like my top case to much. Also have the Buell backpack on the seat rest.

As the two other inmates noted, it is a Tourtank auxiliary fuel tank. With just over 3 gallons of fuel it gives me an average of 300 mile range that helps a lot when I am doing IBA rallies and certificate rides. Plus it allows me to run back and forth to work and only have to fill the bike once a week

Here's a couple from this afternoon, finally got the wife to come with me on the Uly. I need to find a better seat option for her, she's been spoiled by my Roadglide Ultra. Maybe a backrest pad and a Corbin seat?

No exotic pics yet, just my '06 the day after I brought it home 2 weeks ago. Man what a fun bike! Very well cared for and essentially stock other than the comfort kit and '07 front springs.
