You can also check out this site for more colors and some vids. I just tried it on my Uly on some extra plastics.
https://www.dipyourcar.com/home.php

I tried to do a black fade to white.

It came out ok. But I'll probably try something different soon. The good thing is it's rubber based so you can just peel it off if you don't like it and try another combo or color. I got the flat white and flat black at Lowes (that's the only colors they had).

I'm in NPR, if you guys are planning any rides.

First year with my Uly

I thought I should finally post some pictures here, after reading through the entire thread. I picked up this clean 2007 Uly with around 6000 miles on it this spring. 6 months later, and I'm still loving it. I also have a 04 Firebolt, and a 03 HD Fatboy - but the Uly is my all-purpose go anywhere bike.

First maintenance session:

Got Milk?

Riding some forestry roads near Brown Mtn, NC:

Even my dogs love riding on the Uly:

If the Black Stig and Master Chief had a child:

I just added heated grips, Zeta handguards with LED signals, and bar end mirrors this week:

And I also picked up a spare set of plastics for a new paint job:

One last thing - I'm looking to trade a tall seat with the black/orange cover for a tall seat in all black. If anyone is looking for the black/orange combo, let me know.

Very nice! Welcome to the club. I have to admit that milk carton threw me for a loop for a second.

Start, where are you located? I have the stock seat but wouldn't mind having the black/orange combo. My 06 was like that, except the seat, and liked the color.

You got this via Crapatalk

This is why I love Buellers - there's literally dozens of us!!! (And the Uly guys hang out on BadWeb, BuellXB, and ADV!)

Are you military? I see Colorado Springs and the 4ID patch... I'm a Captain in the Reserves. Starting my 3rd Company Command in a couple weeks.

The plastics are going to be painted soon! My friend and I have an inside joke about blue bikes - basically I talked him into painting his old Honda blue, because we had a can of Ford Explorer Blue paint on the shelf. As soon as the first paint went down, I turned to him and said "I f@#$ing hate blue." Since then, he's been cursed with Blue bikes!

Hoping to get out later today on the Uly, if the post-turkey ZZZzzzz monster doesn't get to me.
