Talking My 950 has arrived!

The dealer called today and told me my bike has arrived from Austria!

I 'm so excited.

Now I have to get to Calgary to pick it up. It's snowed the last 2 days and the roads are all icy so I guess my first ride might be by trailer.

Cool!

I want one of those! Do they have a matching mechanical pencil? I collect mechanical pencils.

Thanks Hawgu82! But I'd rather burn the fuel. How are things down around your area? I lived in the Redmond area for the better part of 12 years and first started riding while I was down there. I"ll take the rain over the cold any day. Still wonder why I moved back.

IM close

I might be getting my first 950 this Friday . But well see how the dealer sweet talks the rep. that would bring me the bike to him. course I will be suddenly sick on Friday (cough, cough)so I can make the 2 1/5 hr drive to the dealer, and due to me living alone and have yet to train my dog to drive my truck. I will also be trailering my first miles. that is SOO depessing. coures I will ride around town for as long as I can so I can say I rode it from the dealer.
oh the excitment.

Congrats MTDewX8!

Still sounds like you'll be riding before me. though I thought about the cough, cough, too. But'll probably leave it for a weekend - and it probably won't be this weekend.

My dealer's 3 hours away and I'd love to ride it home. I'll be happy to admire her in the garage for a few weeks while the weather clears up.

My Pen just ran out of ink. Does that mean I have to buy a new 990?

Congratulations on your new purchase. You could ride your 950 down in Calgary. If there is snow on the ground wait 5 min. and a Chinook will blow through and dry up the roads. I was down there at Christmas and lots of people were riding their Goldwings and Harleys. I think it was +13 c. It made me wish I would have loaded up the 950 in the back of the truck and brought it with me. I could have gone for a Christmas ride. We just need Global warming to come a little farther North.

Thanks Rock_93!

I know what you mean - when I delivered my 650 a few weeks ago to the dealer in Calgary, there were bikes everywhere! How do you like your 950? I think it's going to be a great year!

If we wait a little longer, I'm pretty sure global warming will makes it way.
