hey i grew up in Durban and did many trips to the wild coast ,living in new zealand now , those pictures made me feel homesick .
Transkei has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world, its so prehestoric looking ,you'd expect dinsoaurs to still be roaming there. O yes ,and also an incredible place to surf , thats if you dont fear 18ft men in grey suits and monstrous waves. Thanks for the pictures bru .

People get murdered all the time here, in motels, hotels, huts, cars, you name it. We have become largely desensitised to it, cos we have to carry on living man, theres things to do. By the way, the country isnt as bad as some make it out to be. Its really cool, really beautiful, and lots of opportunities everywhere. Wonderful place to come and ride and visit. And it aint just GS country my friend, its Dual Sports country !!!!

This is the second SA ride report I see recently and I'm really impressed by..... the raw fields. I mean wild fields, no plantation. you're in the wild here.
And it's really marvelous as it's a bit difficult for us in europe to find such wide ground to play with our beloved toys. Many kudos to you for sharing the beauty of your country. /thierry

Memories
What fantastic pics. I grew up at Umngazi mouth and lived in Port st Johns for a long time just above the golf course. My grandfather owned Umngazi river bungalows before Transkie independence. Good to see the place hasn't changed still wild as ever. I live in Sydney now but will be visiting Knysna in April, Oh what I would give for a ride The girlfriend would not be happy though travelling all the way around the world to go for a ride. She has enough problems copining with me riding every weekend let alone going riding while on holiday. Any more pics ?
