Peterborough - Combermere Road Loop
Here's a loop I try and do 1-2 times every season.
On a hot day the "hole in the wall" bar in Oak Lake serves cold beer (it's the fine establishment on your left as you enter Oak Lake, suit and tie definitely not required, coveralls appropriate ).
This loop includes Peterson\Elephant Lake Rd and Highway 507, two of the best sportbike roads in Ontario! Mind your speed on Hwy # 507, as the OPP monitor it closely.
Roads consist of either asphalt or tar & P-gravel. In the early spring Hwy # 547 is particularly sandy from winter sanding.
Enjoy, at your own risk of course.

Life ain't about how fast you ride, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce.

This looks like a great route, I'll be sure to hit it this summer. Will let you know when so maybe we can hook up again.
"When in doubt, gas it." This, to be honest, doesn't always solve the problem, but at least it ends the suspense.
