I've been using the 176c for the past two months and IMHO, it rocks.

After reading several warnings how engine vibration from a single cylinder can wreck the electronics inside a GPS, I purchased the TT "GPS 176 mount MvG"

I've had the beast screaming along at 90mph with the mirrors (and my teeth) nearly shaking themselves off the bike..the GPS, it was just sitting there with no vibration at all...

Hey Scotsman, it's not the mount they were referring to when they were talking about vibrations killing the GPS. Cycoactive actually opens up your GPS and "hardens" the internal components so the vibes won't shake something loose inside the GPS. As far as I know, they're the only ones who can do this with Garmin's blessing (does not void your warranty). They recommend you do this if you're doing a lot of off-road riding or riding a single-cylinder thumper - which it looks like you have. You might want to give them a call and find out.

The mount you have will keep your GPS firmly attached to your bike, no problem.
