Shoganai, Thanks for the welcoming message.

I have lurked around the Adventure Rider board for some time and have picked up a lot of good information from members of the asylum.

Ride On.

52 miles round trip. Temps as low as the mid 20s F at times in the a.m. in early spring. Usually 4 lane on the way to work ( gotta start leaving earlier) but I get to enjoy scenic highway 61 along Lake Superior on the way home. Traffic is never bad. I've put over 100,000 commuting miles on my last 2 Harleys. This will be the first season commuting on my new Ulysees. I think I'm going to be looking for some more interesting/varied routes.

Poor bike doesn't even get warmed up... 3 miles to work the "commute" is either no traffic, or gridlocked. But, I leave the saddle bags at home and squeeze through the cages

Paid my dues in a shitty commute to downtown Atlanta. Don't miss that a bit.

33 miles of beautiful country road plus 2 miles of goat trail each way. Almost no traffic in my lane; all the other poor saps work in the opposite direction and are lined up at a jogging pace.

Mine's about 60 miles roundtrip on 101 in the Bay Area. I just moved here from NC and the concept of splitting lanes is awesome. Cuts the commute time alot!

Just short of 50 miles round trip. AM commute takes about 25 minutes, PM can be 45. I take two different routes, all interstate in the AM, 50/50 interstate and surface streets in the PM. Lane sharing is against the law but I do it anyway, haven't been busted yet.
