I'm gonna ride all day Sunday. Hoping to do about 300 miles of dirty roads west of I-81.

My plan is a backroads loop (25/75 gravel/asphalt) through the West Virginia towns of Wardensville, Rio, Moorefield, Scherr, Harmon, Davis, Elk Garden, Kaiser, Ft. Ashby, Points and Berkely Springs.

If anyone is up for a ride like this you're welcome to join me.

I'm stuck in the basement of the Science building working on the DRZilla project. (evil insane laughter, gallops away wringing hands and flailing arms).

I rode 200 miles on the SM610. I'm totally surprised that I was able to do it, and totally surprised that I mostly kept up with the Ducati group I was with. And totally surprised that my ass didn't fall off the back part of my body.

(creeeeaakkk, basement door opens) iGore, I mean iDave, we need carburator parts, a manifold inlet and copper crush gasket STAT!!

No, No, stay away..stay away...the work is too important! We must not let anything get in the way of creating DRZilla.

RebelRob, quick, get the 10-40. I think it's the head gasket! 50/50 fluid! We're losing her!

Damn... another carburator. I think the topend will be fine Dr. Rob.

Where is that iDave! iDave, get another fcr-mx carb...I don't care about the moral questions about the source of these carbs. It's not cannabalism I tell you...we are not eating them. We are using them in the name of science.

the oil, the oil, it's everywhere.

I hate to admit it but I use my GPS mostly just to see where I am. I will plot a route if I feel it necessary for a trip or such. I like my map in my tankbag. I tear up old atlasas for the states I plan to travel through and write routes on paper in bold print. I am showing my age I guess.

You should come over and spend some time. I am having a great time getting my play bike tricked up. That goes for you other turkeys out there too.

I only had time to ride to meet up with friends for dinner. I had to ditch the fuzz for doing a stand up wheelie on my way home.

I have a funny feeling that with all the sumo bikes hitting the streets, there are going to be quite a few busy fuzz with the wheelies going on.

Now Damnit Omar, back to the parts bin...we need those carb parts, I can't keep doing this manual resuscitation by myself.

(from the background..."yes master. When will I get immortality master?" creeeaakkkk, slam. basement door shuts again)
