I discovered it quite by accident one day. Another gem is Angola Rd (CO 9)

Has anyone else ever had to puke while riding a mc?

Last night I was riding home on the FRD and suddenly I my stomach started to twist and I knew I was going to puke.
I then had to ride about a mile to the next exit cause I didnt want to stop on the FDR, I was affraid that I was going to chuck in my helmet. But I made it to 96th st and as soon as I took my helmet off at the beginning of the offramp my diner came out, I didnt even get off my bike, I even got the splatter on my pants smh

HA! Oh, man, I've never had to puke while riding. I have had the wind knocked out of me on an ATV once. I guess that's what over-exuberance & 17yrs old gets ya...

I'm glad you were able to get off before you got your visor smeared with your dinner. I've been sick for the past 48hrs & can only look at my MC outside of my apt window. Winter sucks :(

That sucks, im surprised you made it another mile. I've felt like that in the past and just pulled over for a few minutes, but yeah FDR - long times to the exits.

lol Thats not the case, it happened after cars were slowed for some unknown reason, it smelled like burned tires or transmission, idk but maybe I inhaled something cause just after that I had to throw-up. If that is the case its weird cause I used to work at a car dealership and inhaled bad s**t all the time

I was riding with a guy once when he started to fall back and flash his high beams. I pulled over and he stopped behind me but puked BEFORE he managed to get his full-face helmet off. Puke spilled out above and below his helmet. Got it his hair. Everywhere. To make it worse all I had to clean up was a single paper towel.

man, today was a great afternoon to be on a motorcycle!

man, today was a great afternoon to be on a motorcycle!

running errands on the upper west side and east side, during late morning and early afternoon the sun was out and i had the vents opened on my jacket.

i stopped in at cycle therapy for the first time and bought some chain lube.

guys running the shop-david and rob-seemed nice.

we gabbed bikes and the glory of the ride.

then a blast up the fdr and over to the little "s" curves between the gw bridge and the henry hudson bridge.

all good.

ymmv.

be well

rob

puking

Get a modular helmet. Open, Puke, Close, Ride. Today was beautiful for a ride. I was just going to pull the K bike into the garage but grabbed the gear and took a ride around the Sourlands in NJ.

Hello NYC...

...well, my daughter is moving to the 'big city" after going to school and living in Boston for four years. She has a graphic design job in manhattan and is thinking of living in Brooklyn. She is rather pumped...i'm kinda holding my breath. Any words of advice i can pass along. Thanks a lot!
