All you need is a Viton seal, used in many HVAC apps. You may get lucky with the size.
Home Depot may have some Viton seals as well, but the way my luck goes, they have every size but the one I need.
i'll check it out thanks

UWS, between B-Way and Columbus. I'd call first to make sure they have a selection of O-rings, but I'm continually amazed at the stuff they DO have.

I have an Ikea couch/bed my son left when he moved to HI.

It was for sale on CL, but I will donate it free to anybody in need from Sandy.

See it here https://post.craigslist.org/manage/3414879737/vzvx6

The bins of little parts at big hardware stores reminds me a little of the first aid kits in places of business. After a few months that first aid kit still has gauze, the forceps and gloves are still wrapped, and the only self-adhesive bandages left are the ones which are sized to cover a popped pimple.

Just like offices never bother to re-stock the first-aid kits, so goes the big box stores and their variety little thing bins.

If you haven't done it yet try nuthouse hardware On third Avenue and 29th St. they're open 24 hours like in the TOR thread.

I can't hold on to the couch for that long. Perhaps you can find someone with a storage space?

Make sure you get hi-temp ones. DAMHIK
I got an assortment packaged as Holley Parts from Jegs for around $5 when I re-did the lines on my F650, IIRC

They used to allow motorcycle parking on the plaza surrounding Javits, but last year they caught me off guard when they unexpectedly banned it.

You'd have to go quite a distance away to find legal on street parking, and take the risk of not finding your bike when you return.

I wound up at a nearby pricey indoor garage.

The parking around Javits is particularly hellish now whether on two wheels or four. The construction there is really screwing things up, as if it wasn't bad enough already before that.

And a few years ago when you could still park along the north side of the hall, that area became a shopping mall for thieves. A ridiculous number of bikes were stolen.

Park somewhere distant and walk a bit, or take public transportation. Or show up in a vehicle with handicap plates an hour before the doors open and you might snag a spot right in front of the place.
