Make sure you get hi-temp ones. DAMHIK
I got an assortment packaged as Holley Parts from Jegs for around $5 when I re-did the lines on my F650, IIRC

You'd have to go quite a distance away to find legal on street parking, and take the risk of not finding your bike when you return. I wound up at a nearby pricey indoor garage.

The parking around Javits is particularly hellish now whether on two wheels or four. The construction there is really screwing things up, as if it wasn't bad enough already before that.
And a few years ago when you could still park along the north side of the hall, that area became a shopping mall for thieves. A ridiculous number of bikes were stolen. Park somewhere distant and walk a bit, or take public transportation. Or show up in a vehicle with handicap plates an hour before the doors open and you might snag a spot right in front of the place.

In fairness though I did pull my plate off, You can usually park most anywhere if you pull your plate. Just don't let them catch you putting it back on. I just got a "plate puller" frame to make it easier and quicker and not having to worry about the velcro wearing out. How many of you guys take your plate off when you park and what do you use to hold it on?? |

I keep my plate on but everyone seems to use velcro or a http://www.platepuller.com/ .
At the Javits during the motorcycle show it should be fine. |

At last years show they had several security people outside specifically tasked not to allow parking around the outside plaza.
Unless they've relaxed on this issue, I wouldn't plan on parking there.

Sidewinder Laser cut key cutter needed - NYC area
Anyone know where I can get my transponder duplicate blank key cut?
From what I have gathered so far is the locksmith or dealer needs to have a sidewinder or laser key cutter. It's my spare for the Guzzi Griso.

So who owns the black Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 I just spotted on 83/Lex? It's beautiful.

Christmas Lights...
Dear fellow road warriors:
It's that time again. In a few days I'm taking Mom for a drive around the city to check out all the places with overwhelming Christmas light displays. I NEED YOUR INTELLIGENCE. Such as it is. ![]() Due to limited seat time tolerances I think I'll be restricting this to Brooklyn and Queens but if there's enough awesomeness in da' Bronx we might go out of our way. I'm looking for overdone lighting or at least tastefully overboard homes and businesses but if you know of entire blocks that are at least nicely done, that's great too. Please let me know. Here's what I have right now, sighted and confirmed: Queens 76th Street and 77th Road in Ridgewood 80th Drive and Chevy Chase in Fresh Meadows 23rd Avenue and 166th Street in Bayside 56th Avenue and 214th Street in Bayside (just so-so) Brooklyn Flatlands Avenue and East 93rd Street in Canarsie 310 22nd Street between 6th & 7th Avenues in South Slope and of course six friggin' square blocks of DYKER HEIGHTS
