Thanks..

Going by my (fading) memory, the last bike I bought in PA required the title to be notarized by the seller. PA requires notarized titles, NY does not but the DMV will go by the issuing states rules.

I was going to wait to do this, but I figured I would do it now. I have to give big props to Neftali (BushwickKLR), the man has god like paint abilities!

I am restoring a 1974 Suzuki GT250 Hustler, and Nef did the painting on the bike, and my SV1000S undertail and fender. Ill post full blown pictures once the weather get's better.

Nef, thanks again! The bike came back to life after you painted it. The 39 year old tank with dings, etc.. he did the body work on, and my GSXR front fender on my SV was cracked and he took care of that as well. He treated me like I was an old friend of his, so if you guys need anything painted and he has the time to do it, don't hesitate to reach out to him.

+1
I bought a bike from PA, not realizing it needed to be notarized... NY DMV took one look at the title and told me to hit the road.

When did you change your handle? Are you sellin' the VFR or something?

Couple of weeks ago. Hell no, not selling the VFR, just stating the obvious in my handle. I just checked, Really tall *fill in the blank* is available.

All is not lost, this is NYC, I'm sure it wont be too tough to find someone to notarize it. Maybe bring it to a notary before you sign it, your signature will be notarized and the title might meet the requirements. Worth a shot.

MY KTM was not notarized and from PA and no one said a thing to me. The only thing they did was bang me for more tax than I should have had to pay. But given the circumstances I wasn't going to argue.

NY motorcycle inspection

I know this topic has been visited before but Ive been searching the thread and coming up short.

What local garages perform NY state motorcycle inspections. I called Queens Vespa and they are no longer inspecting motorcycles. Scooters only.

Thanks for the info in advance

I've used Vespa SoHo several times but sometimes they will refuse to do it if the showroom is really busy and they're understaffed. Meaning try not to go on a Saturday afternoon.

I've also used Aprilia/Moto Guzzi/Piaggio Brooklyn a few times with good results.
