today did some detective work and tracked down the video footage of my bike being stolen.
so sad. I showed up 30 minutes after it was taken.

I wish I was more cautious and had used even a small cable lock.

That's fucking brazen. Good of the Armory to help with the footage.

I'm guessing it's a lot easier to defeat a bike ignition key/switch than I ever anticipated?

I'm guessing he just disconnected the original ignition and plugged in one he had the key for. IIRC the DRZ ignition is completely exposed underneath...

Pushed through the intertubes from my magic box.

I know it's too little too late, but I have two separate kill switches.

The police should be able to use cellphone records to track these fuckers down. You can see exactly when the guy's calls were being made.

The best kill switch is the one that operates a .45 loaded with +P JHPs.

He did it the hard way, some skill involved. We've all seen the videos of 2 guys just throwing it in a van in 10 seconds.

Hope you get it back.

Yeabbut, only TV police. Maybe Jack Bauer.

Regular NYPD will have the best chance to catch the guy if he rides the bike up the stairs at 1 Police Plaza, and calls the commissioner's mother a whore. Then, like, 73% chance they'll catch him.

Free Dunlop Sportmax II to good home

Came from a Ducati Monster 900 I'm parting out. Have lots of life left. See pic below.

I sold the rims to a guy in New Zealand and he didn't want to pay to ship the tires. I'd hate to see them go in the trash.

Pick up in Brooklyn. I might be able to take them downtown on a workday if someone wants to meet there.
