I had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting them and almost got rear ended in the process. Bunch of fucking idiots.

I though the same thing....I wish the cops cared and could try and "follow" the cameras to the car or whatever he got the helmet from, and by miracle get a good plate number.

One Day, 3 Tips

I go to park my bike against an island curb this morning and the kickstand folds as I get off it. Crap, crap, crap, tip 1.

Bent the shift lever. Brought the bike over to BMW and they were nice enough to torch and bend it back into place for me as I wait. Tip 2 to the mechanic.

Park the bike on 56th st, come back a couple hours later and my co-worker's Harley parked next to mine had been clipped and tipped by a passing vehicle. I got security to give her a call and helped her upright it. Bent fender & scratches, but rideable.

Just another day commuting into NYC.

Oy.

Everyone please remember - I need pictures of knocked-over motorcycles and scooters. Take a few from different angles and send 'em to me: brad dot berson at nymstf org

I'll go out at lunch with my camera. I can probably knock over 20 or 30 in an hour.

Is that a wild guess or is that a computation based on past experience?
