I'm at the Ez pass service center now.
I came in person to make sure I get a small one.
They are saying that they no longer send out the big ones. It's small ones only now. FYI.

And judging by the license plate of the car in front, it's an inmate from Europe/Russia.

What's the best way to mount the new expass on a bike with no windshield or fairing? My holder is sized for the old larger pass.

I just got my bike recently and was looking for a good local shop in the area. Found union garage in Brooklyn. Great place. Really friendly and so many beautiful bikes in the actual garage next door.

Not sure where you guys shop but give this place a look.

My bike in front of the shop after they hooked me up with a helmet w Bluetooth installation.

I Gorilla tape mine inside the right handguard; never had a fault. But make sure you use plenty of tape. I had mine come off just as I was merging into rush-hour traffic during a wintery slush storm at night on an unfamiliar road. I managed to brace it in place with my middle finger long enough to get into the traffic flow. Then I sat on it.

I've always used the top tank bag pocket for E-Z Pass. Works every time. Place it with the tape side up as if the tank bag was the windshield in a car.

I think I'm done commuting downtown by motorcycle, at least on any sort of semi-regular basis. Parking has become too difficult. The last of the post-Sandy "limbo" unspecified-regulation parking areas are finally being remediated by the DOT, and the parking meters downtown are all repaired.

I feel like the only "safe" way left to park is to use a Muni and come out and feed it every few hours. I think I'll stick to my pedal bike from now on until either hell freezes over, or the DOT decides to recognize motorcycles as a legitimate mode of transportation.

I'm not holding my breath for the latter.

Today I need to drop off some System cases I've sold in midtown. In the past, I'd typically take the sidecar rig and then go to the office and park someplace unobtrusive. Nowadays, I'll have to settle for this:

Oh well, I suppose there's a chance I'll live a little longer, so long as I don't get run over by a box truck.
