hurt yes.

I've heard of a few instances where riders were run over by trucks, pickups usually, in off road areas like s America and s Africa and although the riders were badly bruised there was nothing broken. And no, in the situations I am recalling they were not wearing armour.

So I am thinking that perhaps, because the other "upstanding citizens of the group" decided to slash the guys tires, they may very well have inadvertently caused more damage to their campadre.

So is Meisee really paralysed?
The only person I hear this from is his wife (or whatever she legally is) and now lawyer.

I'm thinking that maybe they're just hoping he's paralysed for
- whatever sympathy they can get
- more $$$$ in quick out of court settlement with the insurance co

I'm waiting for them to get an MD from the hospital to say something (which they can't legally talk about without written consent due to HIPPA regulations).

Well yeah, that's the American Way.

Her choice of baby daddy doesn't say much for her intelligence, which means her income potential and ability to provide for her children is limited. Now baby daddy, who also wasn't exactly CEO material, is gonna be a money pit. Only other option is hope for a settlement.

Reality is, and this is gonna seem a little amusing-slash-retarded, the fact that he was off his bike and on his two feet may actually be helpful. If he was on his bike when he got smooshed he'd have no insurance beyond whatever private coverage he has (although doesn't MA have some socialized medical thing?). But since he was technically a pedestrian he'll at least get no-fault coverage from Lien's policy.

But still, that shit will run out quick.

If they weren't so busy guarding fortress Times Square they could have issued 5,500 summonses and seized 1,440 motorcycles last Sunday alone.

Hmmm... 5500 summonses to bikers.

The NYPD issues about a MILLION moving violation summonses per year.

NYC has less than three hundredths as many registered motorcycles as it does cars and trucks.

Don't ask me what I'm saying; I have no idea.

There are three types of people in the world: those who can do math...and those who can not.

Yeah but the real question is should I have used a hyphen instead of a semicolon in that sentence?

A ruling should be forthcoming as the jury here is anything but hung!
