I thought it was rather insulting.
Question to the audience was something like "what are the rights and responsibilities of motorcyclists?"

Huh? I thought I had the same rights and responsibilities whether I was on my motorcycle or in my car. Proper license, registration, insurance, inspection and follow the law.

That's why I don't believe in motorcycle charity events. I feel no need to prove to the public what a great person I am, "despite" the fact that I ride a motorcycle.

Screw that.

Correction, it's actually NYPD's attempt to mimic the success of Miami Vice

So have any charges been filed on the SUV driver for running over the motorcyclist? No matter how fearful he was, he could not for example, run over pedestrians without being charged. Not much difference between that and running over a motorcyclist. Heck, a motorcyclist can't even jump out of the way like a ped could.

Are you high? People regularly run over pedestrians in NYC and even kill them without being charged.

Do pedestrians generally surround 3 ton trucks on the west side highway and try to manually brake check them?
