Hello all
With this talk of heated gear thought I'd ask a quick question. I survived last winter with just heated grips on my old bike. My current bike is a 1980 honda cb750f is there enough wattage to run a heated jacket and heated grips? Thanks in advance

i got 2 parking tickets a little over 30 days ago.
1 for no plate and 1 for commercial zone

tried paying them online but they tell me:

The violation or plate number entered has been blocked from payment through this system.
This blocking is intentional. You must pay in person at a Borough Payment and Adjudication Center.

so... do i go in person to pay this thing?
are they baiting me in? whats going on here?
anyone with any experience on the matter ... advice would be appreciated.

If there's no judge then don't worry about it. They could just be trying to make your life difficult with thr no plates thing.if there is a judge then I would request a delay and say you need to consult a lawer. But I doubt there would be one

Sorry to hear about John Ryan, never met him but seems like the ultimate rider that I aspire to be over the years.

Thanks for whoever gave the suggestion on the 52nd street garage, worked like a charm today.

Fuck. Had the pleasure of meeting him (very briefly) a few years back in Florida at an Iron Butt Rally. Always admired him.

Let me guess 7 bikers together in a group ride and the 911 calls come flooding in prompting just as many police vehicles to be called in and impounding the bikes.

Just to be on the safe side I will stop waiving to all fellow bikers from now on. Don't want to be labeled in a bad way.

I don't think it's that simple. I been on the highway and a group, or even a single rider, will come by doing the stupidest fucking things. Not terrorizing, but just acting like complete idiot(s). Cutting people off with no room so the cars have to brake heavily to avoid them, jitterbugging, for lack of a better term, in and out constantly and messing up the traffic flow and causing lots of brake checks and near accidents. Seen cars racing, following another car through traffic doing the same things, and causing the same problems.

People are more attuned to this after that incident, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's without cause.

I've been tempted to open a door when some of these bike assholes come by. Just mentally tempted, never did it.

Hey guys,

Any suggestion on where I could find a 20mm bolt to use in removing the alternator rotor on my Strom? Someone mentioned the Nut House on 29th at 3rd Ave, but from what I can see on the web it appears to be a conventional hardware store.

PS Sorry to hear about fellow rider John Ryan.
